Buying Through A Dealer

Most reputable dealers are  members of a Trade Association such as the Retail Motor Industry Federation, and will advertise this in their showrooms and on their paperwork.

Because of their size and connections with vehicle manufacturers, franchised dealers usually have the best pick of any used cars available and offer very comprehensive warranties, often backed by the manufacturer. An example would be Network Q.

If you buy through a dealer, you will usually be dealing with a one-stop-shop which gives you all the services required when you buy a vehicle under the same roof. They will usually offer finance, insurance and most important part exchange any existing car you may have. This is very convenient, but remember that you should always shop around for finance and insurance, as you will often be able to get a better price through going outside the dealer. In most cases Auteco should be able to at least match the dealer quote, and usually beat it.

You must also expect that dealer prices will usually be higher than buying from other sources, and your room for bargaining may be limited.

Although a dealer sale are the most reputable, mistakes can happen.
